Conference Attendance
This is one of the important line of interventions by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND). The Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda had enjoyed this type of intervention for more than 13 years. The conference attendance has two (2) folds; i.e. the International conference and the local conference. Academic staff have been sponsored over this period for an academic presentation. Staff have been sponsored to attend conferences across the globe, both academic and non-academic staff have been sponsored to attend conference within Nigeria as it affect officers schedule of duties and in line with his/her professional requirements.
To this end over one hundred and eleven (111) academic staff have been sponsored to attend academic conference across the globe, while over three hundred and twenty seven (327) both teaching and non-teaching staff were sponsored to go for conferences and workshops within Nigeria.
